Adele has become the new recorder-holder for her new album 25. Adele is known for her songs Chasing Pavements, Rolling In The Deep, and her newest single Hello. She has made $3.5 million in the first week of her album 25.

According to People Magazine, “She dethroned Beyonce as the artist with the fastest selling album in iTunes history and knocked *NSYNC out of top spot to become the new record-holder for single-week album sales.”

On 25, there many great songs that inspired Adele, including Remedy, Water Under the Bridge, Million Years Ago, Sweetest Devotion, and Hello.

According to People Magazine, Remedy was written and recorded in one day with Ryan Tedder, an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer. The ballad, which is inspired by her son, was a turning  point in making of 25. She told Rolling Stone: “When I wrote it, I got my confidence back in my writing ’cause I believe in myself.”

The song Water Under the Bridge, inspired by her boyfriend Simon Konecki, is “sort of about a relationship suddenly getting really, really serious and then getting a bit frightened by it,” she told Rolling Stone. “And then realizing that ‘I think this must be right. This is the relationship that I want to be in for as long as I can possibly be in it.'”

According to Billboard, ” 25 will debut atop the billboard 200 albums chart dated Dec.12, marking the singer/songwriter’s second No. 1.”
