Nathaniel Harris, between teaching three upper level classes and managing a family, also finds time to coach Men’s Varsity Soccer.

“My family is very supportive of my coaching. I use every moment of the day to prep for school and usually plan soccer at night,” said Harris.

Harris teaches AP Euro., AP Gov., and US History Honors and is preparing his team for their opponents this season.

“I love being with the kids outside of school and seeing a different side of them,” said Harris.

This will be Harris’ 8th year at Ashley Ridge and his 18th year coaching.

Harris’ team has started out with a very successful season, beating Goose Creek High, West Ashley, and Irmo High Schools.

The team is scheduled to play Summerville High on the 22nd and Fort Dorchester on the 24th.
