The 50th Super Bowl will be played on Sunday, February 7, in Santa Clara, California.  A decision was made by the NFL to use Arabic numbers (Super Bowl 50) instead of the classic Roman numeral. The kick-off is 6:30pm on CBS.

The Carolina Panthers will go head to head with the Denver Broncos. It will be Quarterback Peyton Manning’s last game and his last chance to win what would be his second ring. The Broncos have appeared seven times and won twice. The Panthers have only played and lost once.

This year’s halftime show performers are Coldplay, Bruno Mars, and Beyoncé. The last time Beyoncé took the stage was in 2013 where she reunited with her former girl group, Destiny’s Child. Bruno Mars performed in 2014 with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. As for Coldplay, it will be their first year to grace the halftime stage. Super Bowl 50 is looking exciting!
