Trolls dolls are back and better than ever in Disney DreamWorks new animation film Trolls. If you don’t recall the popular 90’s toy that had flesh-colored skin, and  were ugly baby-looking critters with wacky hair.

The Films release date was November 4th, 2016; Trolls is a PG, Fantasy/Adventure film, and runs for 1 hour 33 minutes.

Directors Mike Mitchell, and Walt Dohrn create a great family atmosphere; with talented actors like Justin Timberlake, James Cordon, and Russel Brand; actresses including Anna Kendrick, Gwen Stefani and Zooey Deschanel.

Trolls are small enthusiastic creatures who spend their days singing and dancing. Bergens are large creatures who never feel happy, but discover that they can feel happy for a moment if they eat a Troll. Soon the bergen steal princess Poppy (Anna Kendrick), the happiest Troll ever born, and the overly-cautious, sometimes rude Branch (Justin Timberlake) set off on a journey to rescue their troll friends.

The movie is full of adventure and mishaps, as this opposite pair try to get along long enough to get the job done.

Justin  Timberlake is not only the main voice actor, but has created the whole soundtrack for the movie. Co-star Anna Kendrick also has songs on the featured soundtrack, songs like CAN’T STOP THE FEELING! by Justin Timberlake; Get Back Up Again by Anna Kendrick. Overall the soundtrack makes you want to get up and move with those happy little trolls.

Trolls is jam packed with funny scenes, by far the best scene is when Poppy and Branch are camping outside, and Poppy begins to sing again. Soon Branch becomes irritated and yells at her that he just wants some silence. Poppy then breaks out her guitar and quietly sings “Sound of Silence” by Disturbed; she is accompanied by talking plants and insects to help finish the song.

When asked “What did you think of the Movie Trolls?” Katie Junior at Ashley ridge said “There was definitely  a lot of singing, but it was a cute movie”.

Overall Trolls is a great movie to see with family, or friends; you’ll want to get up out of your seat and dance!
