In the upcoming months, Vine, a popular short video clip sharing app, is being shut down. Since the start of 2016 Vine had struggled to keep its top creators. A lot of Vine’s top accounts had either deleted their account or gradually stopped posting in 2016.

However, nothing is going to  happen to the apps, websites, or Vines already made. Vine released a statement saying that the Vines that had been created are valued and will still be accessible.

Vine originally debuted back in 2013. It started as a huge success with people everywhere. Many popular Vines have come out of the app with millions of views. However, over the years the views have been going down. There’s so many apps that people use today, so it’s no surprise that eventually one had to go.

The popular Vines will be remembered, and Vine won’t completely die with their accessible already uploaded videos.
