Star Wars Legend Carrie Fisher dead at 60

Carrie Fisher a Legend known, for her role in the Star Wars movies as princess Leia. She has captivated us with her on screen performances and her charity work and literary career. A legend who has died too young at age 60 will forever have been in our hearts.

Carrie Fisher experienced a heart attack on a flight from London to Los Angeles on Friday, December 23rd, 2016 and had been hospitalized in Los Angeles. On Tuesday, December 27th, 2016 Ms. Fisher died of cardiac arrest at 8:55 a.m. Her family was thinking about removing her life support when her heart had just decided to stop by its self.

Passengers on the flight from London to Los Angeles have said they thought she died on the flight. Her body appeared lifeless, and it’s said Ms. Fisher did not have a pulse for 10 minutes.

She was promoting her new memoir, The Princess Diarist, which is her long-lost diaries from her time filming on the 1976 set of Star Wars she reveals a secret affair between the young actress and her married costar Harrison Ford.

It’s true you can really die of a broken heart. Debbie Reynolds known for her role in “Singin’ in the Rain” died on Wednesday, December 28th 2016 one day after her daughter Carrie Fisher died. She was 84 when she suffered a stroke. “She wanted to be with Carrie,” her son Todd Fisher told Vanity.

Many stars are grieving the lose of these two famous women. Ryan Gosling accepted an award Monday Night January 2nd, 2017. While accepting the award for his performance in his new movie LaLa Land  he thanked Debbie Reynolds.

“I wish I could’ve said this in person, but I’d like to thank Debbie Reynolds for her wonderful career of work,” Gosling said. “She was an inspiration to us every day. We watched ‘Singin’ in the Rain’ every day for inspiration, and she was truly an unparalleled talent. So I thank her for all of that inspiration.”

Both actresses have left a major impact on movie industry and will forever live on in our hearts.
