The annual Grammy awards aired Sunday, February 12th with James Corden as the host. Several different artists were nominated for several different awards. Many artists also performed throughout the awards ceremony.

The Grammys started strong with an amazing performance from Adele singing her hit single, “Hello,” that she won song of the year with. Adele also ended up winning album of the year, record of the year and artist of the year.

Chance the Rapper took home the title for best new artist of the year and later earned himself the best rap album of the year for Coloring Book. He also performed later on in the show.

The Weekend and Daft Punk also hit the stage and performed the popular song,”Feel it Coming.” Afterwards, 21 Pilots was announced best duo/group of the year.

Ed Sheeran was another performer who got to sing his hit new song “Shape of You.”

Beyonce, who recently announced her pregnancy with twins, stole the stage with a beautiful performance. Beyonce also won best urban album of the year for Lemonade later that night.

Lady Gaga made a memorable performance with Metallica and sang the Metallica song, “Moth into the Flame.”

The Grammys had three tributes to famous artists. First, Adele sang “Fast Love”, one of George Michael’s songs, as tribute to him. Adele stopped in the middle of the song after a minor error, and started the song over again, wanting to make his tribute as perfect as possible.

Demi Lovato, Tori Kelly, Little Big Town and Andra Day also made a tribute to The Bee Gees with a series of performances of the Bee Gees’ songs.

Bruno Mars and The Time made a tribute to Prince with two separate performances.

Hopefully, everyone got a chance to watch the Grammys, or part of it. Congratulations to all the Grammy winners and nominations!
