Kentucky Toddler Beats Stage-4 Cancer

Molly Hughes, a little girl from Kentucky, was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma at almost 5 months old. After 15 months of cancer treatment, and five rounds of chemotherapy, Molly overcame the struggle and is cancer free.

The toddler’s mother, Chelsea Hughes, gives Molly a mini photo shoot, spreading the excitement and joy. She posted the pictures on Facebook as of April 5, 2019. “I kinda just fell to the ground after I got off the phone [with the doctor] and I just hugged her for like 5 minutes,” Hughes says.

Medicine and the power of God are what the mom says helped heal Molly. “I believe that’s what’s helped her get through is all the prayers she’s had and we just can’t thank everybody enough for praying for her and supporting us through all of this.” Hughes says.

Hughes also says Molly “…loves being outside from the time she gets up ’til she goes to bed, she’s just wild…so full of energy and just loves doing what a baby should be doing.”

Molly lost hearing, but she’s returning to a healthy, normal life.
