Technology may be seen as a threat to society in many ways. For example, it may not be all that great for people who can not get their hands on it. It may be too expensive or they are not in a place where they can get it, but the perspective changes as soon as they get the technology.

Not everyone may see technology as a thing that betters peoples’ lives or changes their lives completely. It does not connect you more with the people around you if you do not have it, nor does it disconnect you by not having it.

Even though technology may have made the world a better place for those who have access to it, for the people who do not have it, it is harmful. In today’s world, because there are so many people who have it, you are seen as an outcast or disconnected from everyone if you do not have it because everyone assumes that everyone has technology at their fingertips.

Some people think that technology disconnects all of us, even though it promises to connect all of us. Many say that people no longer communicate and interact with one another because their devices have taken over. This statement is as true as you make it sound.

You must be able to go get lunch with the people you love or go home and have a family dinner without your device, but that is about self-discipline, not technology. While it may be true in some cases that technology has drawn us apart from each other, it has also brought us all closer.

With technology, people can get access to information easier and it has bettered many lives in the long run.

If you have a question about something you are learning about or want to know how to fix or make something, you can look it up. Technology makes it so that if a trip is too far or you need to reach someone quickly, you can by a quick email or phone call. If you live far away and miss your best friend, you can FaceTime them.

Technology also bettered the world by capturing moments. Phones can take pictures of your kids as they grow up and family moments you do not want to forget.

This results, in the long run, in making people happier and smarter and overall better people just by having the ability to pick up a device. Technology makes it so that the world is at your fingertips.
