Dogs and cats are thought to reduce anxiety, depression, stress, etc. If you have a pet, you can become more active because you have to take care of it. Dogs and cats help you relax more as you pet them which lowers your blood pressure. With the help of pets, people can be more calm and relaxed while still enjoying their day. People make videos about them and they fill us with joy because we think they are funny and we watch more and more.

On the site “HelpGuide” there is an article called “The Mood-Boosting Power of Pets” and it explains that, “Pet owners are less likely to suffer from depression than those without pets.” Dogs and cats are basically therapeutic for the pets’ owners to reduce stress and anxiety. Having a companion is better for your health in most instances, with one way being that they get you moving more than you are already.

This doesn’t mean you have to have a pet; it’s just something that can help improve health. In an article titled, “The Benefits of Pets for Human Health,” it says that, “having your dog in the room lowered blood pressure better than taking a popular type of blood pressure medication (ACE inhibitor) when you are under stress.” So having a pet isn’t all that bad unless you have allergies or a phobia.

They can also help you with your social life, as it says in the article, ““: “Pets, especially dogs, can help you connect with other people.” Pets can help you with your social life, especially if you tend to be antisocial.
