Pause the Stress & Take a Deep Breath

March 2020 has definitely been a roller coaster. From deaths of celebrities who impacted many to a pandemic causing the whole world to worry.

But there are definitely ways to keep your mind off this madness. Every store is practically closed, but that does not enable you to go outside. Just the presence of being outdoors is boosting your spirit.

Ways to lift your stress are all free and simple! Including jamming to your favorite music, writing, enjoying company with a friend, and reading.

You may not think any of these are helpful but they truly are. “Previous studies have shown that eliciting the relaxation response — a physiologic state of deep rest — not only relieves stress and anxiety, but also affects physiologic factors such as blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen consumption” according to Harvard stress studies.

With every event going on right now, you should focus on yourself and improve your health by minimizing your stress. It is vital to relax because the world is not ending, so take a deep breathe.
