Kids in this time want to rush to become an adult to either have control of their own lives or make their dreams come true. They don’t understand that if they rush, then they can’t go back. Some adults would love to be young again just to not have so many responsibilities as they do today. You don’t have to do research or find factual evidence to know that you are wasting your youth trying to get older to find that you can’t get all that time back.

Yes, maybe they had a bad childhood because of abuse or other things but that doesn’t mean they still can’t find the good in their childhood. If they are having problems, then help them find the solution and don’t just let them suffer through that alone. Not implying that they can’t do it on their own, but having support is a key factor to help them.

Having dreams and goals are amazing, but you should make sure they aren’t wasting that precious time as a child. You are only young once so you should try to keep it as long as possible before it disappears. Getting stuff that you can’t have till you are older is great but that doesn’t mean that it won’t be there if you don’t rush. What is the point of throwing away something that you only get once that you could have used as much as possible?
