“iHeart Living Room Concert for America” Will be Hosted by Elton John on March 29

On Mar. 29, “iHeart Living Room Concert for America” will be hosted by Elton John on Fox to help aid people affected by the Coronavirus. Artists such as Backstreet Boys, Billie Eilish, Alicia Keys, Tim McGraw, Mariah Carey, and others will be playing (FOX).

Many concerts have been postponed because of the Coronavirus outbreaks around the world. A lot of celebrities have started to give concerts online like on Instagram Live. All the artists will perform from their own homes using their own equipment. It will be broadcasted on iHeartMedia stations and on their app at 9 p.m. ET (Deadline).

The concert will be be a tribute to all the local workers that are putting their life on the line for the people around them such as healthcare professionals, first responders, and other heroes. It also encourages the audience to support the two charities: Feeding American and First Responders Children’s Foundation (FOX).

Many of the performing artists in the show were affected. Billie Eilish postponed the North American portion of her tour after three shows and Alicia Keys delayed her upcoming album which was scheduled to come out last week (USA Today).
