Pixar’s Soul Expected to be One to Remember

Pixar’s newest movie “Soul” is expected to be one of the most popular movies out of the franchise. The movie is about a music teacher, Joe Gardner, and how he gets his chance to perform on a big stage, but an accident separates his soul from his body. In a race against time, and with the help of other souls, he must find his way back to his body and perform before his rival Paul takes his spot.

Soul is the first Pixar movie to have an African American main character. In Pixar’s 34 years, “Soul” is going to be the first film with multiple black characters in the lead roles. The abstract concepts and animation in this film are making up to be one of the most remembered films in the Pixar’s 34 years.

The star-studded cast consists of Jamie Foxx voicing Joe Gardner, Tina Fey voicing 22, and Angela Bassett voicing Dorthea Williams. Foxx says he is honored to be the first African American lead for a Pixar film. The film is one of the most anticipated movies in the Pixar industry.

The movie was going to be released on Nov. 13, but due to the coronavirus the film is going to be released exclusively on Disney plus+ on Dec. 25. This will give your family a great animated film to watch as you enjoy your Christmas day.
